ADAS.... ADVANCED DRIVER ASISTANCE SYSTEMS
We can Calibrate these modern driver aids in line with the manufacturers specifications or higher
Safety critical ADAS sensors are an embedded part of the very fabric of modern cars
If the ADAS control system receives inaccurate or confusing data it can shut down multiple safety systems within the car
To combat this we use the latest equipment from the top manufacturers on the market today
Our equipment is of the highest quality and offers the best scope of vehicle coverage
We are qualified to the highest standards as set by the Institute of the Motor Industry
and regularly update this training to ensure we are at the cutting edge of this technology
We Calibrate & Repair the following systems
Collision warning & Avoidance
Lane departure warning
Emergency Braking Systems
Pedestrian detection systems
Adaptive cruise control
Park assist
Traffic sign recognition
Blind spot detection
Night vision systems
360° cameras
Did you know that any repair carried out on your vehicle that effects the ADAS system or its parts could disable or effectively blind your driver assistance systems.
The only way to ensure your critical safety system is working properly is to have the system calibrated.
Suspension work, including the likes of ball joints, wishbones, struts, shock absorbents springs etc, Collision damage (even if it only minor), Windscreen replacement, changing wheels and tyre sizes
all effect the ADAS calibration. Some cars that have been on the road for years with these systems fitted are now due timing belts, you need to remove the bumper to do the timing belt and the
ADAS then needs re calibrating as the sensors are bumper mounted and once removed can be replaced in a different position.
BE WARNED Just because the warning light isn't on doesn't mean that the ADAS system is working correctly
Yes....... your ADAS system can be faulty without illuminating a warning lamp, leaving critical safety systems
on your car either not working or not working correctly due to something as simple as misalignment of a sensor
It only takes the smallest of knocks for the ADAS system to be out of alignment, still fully functional but looking in the wrong place. so no warning light !!
For example the front facing radar only needs to be a degree or two out for it to be looking in the wrong lane, so you catch up with a slow truck on the motorway expecting the car
to slow down and the next thing you know you run into the back of the truck, all because the radar was looking in the wrong lane, yet it was only a degree or two out of line. and because
it was fully working , just looking in the wrong place, the warning lamp was not lit !!!
